About Me

Coming from a one parent family that survived purely on benefits I was given every opportunity to achieve very little with my life.

However despite getting off to a slow start 32 years on much has changed. After leaving school with no GCSE’s and dropping out of college I spent 8-9 years in the Armed Forces.

The only reason I had for joining the Army was that since I had a keen sense of adventure I was looking forward to spending my time camping, kayaking, snow boarding and taking part in just about any adventurous activity that was available.

Unfortunately I joined up just towards the end of the glory days of Tony Blair and President Clinton, the economy was good and the last thing in the world I was expecting was President Bush and his “War on Terror”!

Before I knew it the Government had me packed up and shipped off to Iraq ready for the invasion and to possibly find some weapons of mass destruction ‘that actually never existed!’

But it was not all bad, almost as soon as I got back, I was off to Canada for 6 months of winter repair (since I was a vehicle mechanic afterall).

Soon after getting back from Canada, Dave Waters a good friend of mine, had bought some kind of Herbalife business in a box? This was the first time I had ever really thought about the possibility of owning a business.

Naturally at first I thought he was mad and had been scammed into some kind of pyramid organisation but after having a good read through the business documents I thought otherwise and signed up myself under the same sponsor, Tina Clarke.

I ran that Herbalife home business for many years whilst still in the being in the Army but no matter how much of the stuff I sold I could never work out why I wasn’t making any money from it. Although the one excellent thing that I took away from that time was the introduction into the world of personal development and the teachings of people such as Robert Kiyosaki, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins etc.

In late 2006 from what I had deduced from reading Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad books I decided that we was looking at a housing market crash. Having owned a property for about 1 year I decided to put it up for sale much to the dismay of all my friends that thought I was some kind fool going around telling people the housing market would crash at a time when estate agents and other ‘proffesionals’ insisted it would only continue to go up!

So after selling the house and taking a sweet £15k profit, my former wife decided that we should invest it in some formal Rich Dad Education. It was a big old chunk of cash to be laying out on a few intense seminars and 1 to 1 training but I have to say the education that is now lodged in my brain forever, was certainly worth every penny spent.

My final year in the Army was spent at RAF Odiham in the south of England, while I was there I acquired a couple of franchises in The Nuts Poker League, a business that I had seen do very well on the Dragons Den. At the time of leaving the Army I also got divorced and moved back home to Swansea where despite having no money and having £23k of credit card debt I still managed to get hold of a nice 5 bed 2 bathroom property in South Wales :-)       Rich Dad Education Rocks!

Now is about the time something life changing happened, I really don’t want you to get to weirded out by this but here goes…
I became a Christian! Not by chatting with some fella down the church as I would never have dared go into one anyway, but just by having a few words with the King of Heaven himself.

Soon after that by a random set of seemingly unrelated events, I met a nice chap who just happened to be an ex-highstreet bank manager, he was setting up a call centre for his debt consultancy business and during an extremely intriguing conversation whilst having no knowledge of my personal indebtedness he exposed all the secrets of how to go about getting debts written off for free.
This was so simple, all you had to do was ask the lenders for a bunch of documents that they legally should have, however due to the incompetence of the bankers there was a very high chance they would not have them. And would you belive it, none of my creditors could supply any of these documents = debt gone :D

I wrote all about this including template letters in DIY Debt Disposal

Ever since I started out in my first business venture with Herbalife in 2004 I have been designing and developing websites. Slowly improving year on year until finally deciding to go to Swansea Metropolitan University to study Web Development in September 2010.

Plans for the future:

Although Herbalife may not be the best entry into the network marketing industry, I do believe that network marketing is an excellent business model and have since used the business analysis methods learnt during my Rich Dad Education days to review all the network marketing opportunities in the UK and have found one that is the undisputed all out winner, hands down…
no stock – no buying and selling, just providing stuff people actually really need (electric, gas etc.) at a cheaper price and far greater customer service, plus you can even get a company car! No other network marketing company even comes close www.TinyHomeBills.com

Aside from that I shall be continuing producing tools and assistance for other property investors with Property Zest as well as acquiring the odd property for my own portfolio here and there. Not to mention also raising a bit of money to help the homeless with my Rough Ride fund raising adventures :-)

With a little bit of luck I hope to one day retire early and live out in the Philippines or somewhere equally as cool (I can’t help it, I just have an awesome sense of adventure!).
